Carefully cut out labels then choose the color or colors of clay you want to make your candle. I choose red, glow in the dark and a little black for the "Living Dead" candle. I added a little translucent to each color.
Add small pieces of clay using your ball tool to push it where you want it. Continue adding different colors of clay until you achieve the look you want.
After you have filled the jar, be sure to leave a little room from the top of the jar. See photos below.
Cut a small piece of black headpin or wire, use tweezers to carefully place the wire into the center of the candle.
Place the jar on a piece of paper (not shown in photo) in the toaster oven and bake for 5 to 10 minutes depending on your oven. Once cooled, use a toothpick to apply a small amount of glue to the back of a label and place on the jar. Allow the glue to dry then apply a coat of gloss Mod Podge to the label and allow to dry.
I used a stone effect clay for the "Graveyard" candle, I added silver glitter to black clay for the "Spider's Web" and glow in the dark clay for the "Zombie" candle.
Experiment and have a creepy good time!
