Supplies needed; push pins, eraser caps from mechanical pencils found at the Dollar Tree, pliers, glue and a lighter. *Children should not use a lighter without adult supervision*

Remove the eraser caps from the pencils. Carefully heat the pin part of the push pin with the lighter, make sure not to get to close to the plastic. After several seconds use the pliers to pull the pin out. Try to pull the pin straight out or the plastic can bend. Use a nail file or sandpaper to smooth if needed.

Add a little glue to the larger end of the push pin after removing the pin, then add an eraser cap and let dry.

Use different color push pins for different looks. You could paint the eraser caps with gallery glass to match the color of your push pins or just leave them clear.
